The naturally cooled electric motor uses direct water-assisted thermal dissipation to maintain optimal operating temperatures without complex cooling hardware.
By keeping the motor consistently below 100 °C EBM-20 sustains high-speed operation while preventing thermal stress and power derating.

The EBM-20 lower unit is available in multiple transom configurations to suit diverse hull types and mission profiles. Offered in standard, long, and extra-long shaft options, it can be supplied as a complete integrated system or as a modular lower-unit assembly with configurable drive and control interfaces—enabling seamless integration into new builds or customized electric repower projects.

EBM is the world’s first outboard motor with a fully integrated digital display. It provides real-time motor health, performance, and system diagnostics at a glance. Live location tracking ensures constant visibility of the motor and vessel.
